Mountfield
Mountfield SP42 Self-Propelled Petrol Lawnmower
Walk-behind mower, Petrol, 41cm cutting width
Overview
The Mountfield SP42 is a self-propelled petrol rotary mower aimed at small-to-medium gardens. Its 123cc STIGA ST120 Autochoke engine drives a 41cm steel cutting deck and rear-wheel propulsion, reducing the effort needed on longer runs or uneven ground. Six centrally adjusted cutting heights span 22mm to 65mm, while the 60L collector keeps emptying stops relatively infrequent. It can also mulch or rear-discharge clippings, giving more flexibility than a collection-only mower.
Best For
- Small-to-medium lawns
- users wanting petrol power and self-propelled drive
