EGO
EGO CS1400E 35cm 56V Cordless Chainsaw
Battery, compatible battery platform
Overview
The EGO CS1400E is the compact full-size saw in EGO's 56V range. Its 35cm bar and 13.5m/s chain speed give it useful capacity for branches and medium logs without the bulk of the company's larger 40-45cm models. Automatic chain lubrication feeds from a 150ml reservoir, while tool-free tensioning makes routine adjustment easier. EGO also fits a chain brake with kickback protection. At 3.8kg without a battery it is relatively manageable for a 56V saw. It is particularly attractive to owners already invested in the EGO ARC Lithium system because the same batteries fit across the wider range.
Best For
- Branches and medium logs where a manageable 35cm cordless saw is preferable to EGO's larger 40–45cm models.

It performs strongly in areas like useful 35cm capacity without moving to ego's biggest saws and tool-free tensioning and automatic oiling simplify setup.
You should consider an alternative if slower chain speed than ego's newer 20-22m/s models or battery choice has a noticeable effect on overall working weight would be a problem for your situation.
