Bosch
Bosch UniversalChain 35 1800W Corded Chainsaw
Corded electric
Overview
The Bosch UniversalChain 35 is the mains-powered option in this curated set. Its 1,800W motor drives a 35cm Oregon chain at 12m/s, giving it enough capacity for logs, branches and small-to-medium trees without any battery-runtime limit. Bosch's concentric SDS system handles chain tensioning and replacement without tools, while automatic lubrication feeds the chain from the side-mounted oil tank. A kickback brake is included for safety. At 4.3kg it has the heft of a full-size saw, and the obvious compromise is the power lead, but for repeated cutting close to a mains supply it offers consistent performance without buying into a battery platform.
