Ryobi
Ryobi RY18CS20A-0 ONE+ 20cm Compact Chainsaw
Battery, compatible battery platform
Overview
The Ryobi RY18CS20A-0 sits between a tiny pruning saw and a conventional domestic chainsaw. Its 20cm bar makes it easy to manoeuvre around branches and smaller logs, while the full-complement chain is designed for smoother cuts and reduced vibration. Ryobi uses a manual oiling system and a conventional tooled chain-tension setup rather than the automatic oilers and tool-free adjusters found on larger premium saws. The tool is notably light at around 2.7kg and Ryobi quotes up to 40 cuts through 10cm hardwood with a 5.0Ah ONE+ battery. It is a sensible small-job saw for existing ONE+ owners, but it is not intended for large timber or sustained heavy-duty work.
Best For
- Pruning and limbing
