STIHL
STIHL RLA 240 Cordless Lawn Scarifier
Battery
Overview
The STIHL RLA 240 is one of the strongest all-round cordless choices for smaller and irregular lawns. It uses STIHL's 36V AK battery system and includes both a fixed-blade scarifying roller for cutting into thatch and a spring-tine roller for gentler dethatching. The 34cm working width keeps the machine manoeuvrable around corners, while the 50L catcher reduces clean-up afterwards. Working depth is continuously adjustable, from roughly 7.5mm above ground to 9.5mm below the surface. STIHL rates coverage at up to 250m² with the recommended AK 30 battery. At 14kg without a battery, it feels substantial without becoming unwieldy.
