Overview
The Makita UR3000 suits regular lawn edges, borders and grass around obstacles where a mains socket is nearby. Its 30 cm twin-line head uses Tap&Go feed, and the head turns 180 degrees for edging. Makita lists a 2.6 kg net weight and a short 0.3 m supply cord, so most gardens will need a suitable outdoor extension.

Best Garden Match Assessment
This strimmer is best suited to Domestic lawn edging and routine grass trimming near mains power..
It performs strongly in areas like wide 30 cm trimmer swath and head turns for edging.
You should consider an alternative if only a 0.3 m fitted supply cord; outdoor extension normally required or for grass and edges, not woody brush would be a problem for your situation.
