Hyundai HYC2400E 40cm Electric Chainsaw
Corded electric
Overview
The Hyundai HYC2400E is a 2400W corded electric chainsaw designed for substantial domestic cutting without the maintenance of a petrol engine. Its 40cm Oregon bar runs at up to 15m/s, while tool-free chain tensioning and automatic lubrication simplify routine use. A 12m cable provides unusually generous reach for a corded saw, and the electric/mechanical chain brake is designed to stop the chain in around 0.15 seconds.
Best For
- Domestic log cutting, firewood and medium tree work where mains power is accessible and sustained output is more important than cordless mobility.
