EGO
EGO STX3800 Pro X 38cm Line Trimmer / Brush Cutter
Battery, 38cm cutting width, compatible battery platform
Overview
The STX3800 is the professional-level option in this curated set. Its standard line head cuts a 38cm swath with 2.4mm line, while the head can accept thicker line up to 3mm for more stubborn vegetation. A three-sided steel blade provides a 30cm brush-cutting width, giving the tool genuine capability beyond normal grass trimming. The carbon-fibre drive shaft is designed to combine stiffness with lower weight, and EGO supplies a double-shoulder harness to spread the load. The tool uses a plug-in battery connection intended for EGO's backpack/Pro X power setup rather than a conventional battery sitting directly on the tool. At 6.8kg it is a specialist choice for demanding or professional work rather than casual edging.
