EGO ST1400E-ST 35cm Powerload Line Trimmer
Battery, 35cm cutting width, compatible battery platform
Overview
The EGO ST1400E-ST is aimed at users who want a full-size cordless line trimmer but do not need a metal brushcutter blade. Its 35cm cutting width covers ground quickly and the Powerload head removes much of the hassle from replacing line: thread the line, activate Powerload and the head winds it automatically. The 2.4mm line and variable/two-speed operation give it more authority than light edging tools, while the telescopic shaft and adjustable loop handle allow the fit to be tailored to the user. At 3.4kg without a battery it is substantial but still manageable. It uses EGO's interchangeable 56V ARC Lithium battery platform and is sold here as a bare tool.
