Bosch
Bosch UniversalRake 900 Electric Lawn Raker
Corded electric
Overview
The Bosch UniversalRake 900 belongs on the same lawn-renovation category page as scarifiers, but it has a different job. Instead of fixed scarifying blades, it uses spring-steel tines to comb moss, dead grass and loose thatch from the surface with less soil penetration. The 900W motor drives a 32cm cylinder with ten double spring-steel tines, and four operating heights from +10 to -5mm let the user vary intensity or collect leaves. The 50L collector is unusually generous for a compact lawn raker. It is the better Bosch option for regular gentle dethatching; buyers wanting to cut channels into compacted thatch should choose the UniversalVerticut 1100 instead.
